Day 09 : Nainital – Delhi

We are so glad to inform you that to support tourism in deep middle Himalayan and great Himalayan region of Uttarakhand .We have created an eco-tourist village (camping site), which came into existence in 2010.
This eco-tourist village (camping site) is situated in Kedarnath Valley (Origin of Mandakini River) in (CHOPTA) region.
This (CHOPTA) region is famous for it’s scenic beauty, vegetation, wild life diversity, enchanting view of Himalayan peaks, ( Kedar dome , Chaukhamba, ) and many more . Chopta region is highly reserved for state bird (Monal) and you can see more than 521 species of birds, 125 species of major mammals, 100 species of big trees and innumerable kinds of herbs and insects and flowers. Water falls, rivulets, grass lands, flower covered fields and panorama of great Himalaya makes it paradise for tourists. As there are so many trekking routs in Kedarnath valley so trekkers use it as a base camp to many routs. Chopta is in between Kedarnath and Badrinath rout since it provides a pleasant accommodation to pilgrims.
Eco-tourist village (Camping site) =>
• Amid dense temperate forest on the lap of nature.
• AT the height of 2350 mtr. remains covered up to 2-3 feet in the month of Dec to March but is easy.

We Operate –
At this eco-tourist village (Camp site) we operate some activities for recreation and valuable experience as-
1. CAMPING—Jungle camping surrounded by dense temprate forest, pleasant and convenient accommodation.
2. TREKKING—-we conduct trekking over more than 20 Moderate, Semi moderate and hard trek. All routs go through Kedarnath wild life sanctuary and Nanda devi biosphere reserve. Some routs (treks) take you at the height of 5000 mtr.
3. BIRD /ANIMAL WATCHING- There are more than 521 species of birds and 125 species of major mammals found in Chopta region, some of them are rare species like Snow Leopard, Monal etc.
4. ADVENTOURS GAMES- We provide Rafting, Rock Climbing, Cliff Climbing, Rippling, and River Crossing at present around campsite. We planning over snow skiing, Mountaineering, Paragliding.
