Itinerary Details:

Taj Mahal, the epitome of love, stands on the banks of the river Yamuna. Built in the 17th century by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan, Taj attracts innumerable tourists from all over the world. Viewing Taj just once at one point of time is just not sufficient.

Agra Fort, built by Akbar the Great and beautified by Jehangir with palaces and gardens. It has around 16 palaces, several gardens and huge open areas. It’s a city in itself.

Itmad-Ud-Daulah,near to the Agra Fort, is the tomb of Mirza Ghiyas Beg, Jehangir’s wazir and father-in-law too. Queen of Jehangir, Nur Jahan got it built for her parents. It is also known as the ‘baby Taj’ as it was the very first construction of Mughals in a white marble and inlay stone work.

Sikandra, mausoleum of Akbar the Great, is built in red sandstone and white marble. It is built in the centre of wide green gardens.
