About Jagson Airlines

Jagson Airlines is an air charter company based in Delhi, India. The company started charter operations under its parent company Jagson Group in November 1991 with two 18-seat Dornier 228-201 aircraft. The airlines have flown in the difficult hilly terrain of India without any record of any incidence.

Jagsons Airlines Limited was incorporated in January 1994 to operate air-taxi services under the open sky policy of the Government. The company was promoted by J.P. Gupta, Pradeep Kumar Gupta, and their associates. Jagson Airlines was to acquire four aircraft but commenced started operations with one Do 228.

Jagson Airlines operates flights to Delhi, Jaipur, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Kullu, Shimla, Dharamsala, and Pondichery. It is planning to expand its services to other cities, using leased Airbus A321-200 aircraft. It also operates chartered flights.

In 2006, the company aimed at expanding their services to 9 cities, using leased Airbus A321-200 aircraft. Jagson Airlines received its regional airline license from the DGCA in early 2009, but since the regional services never took off within 18 months, the regional airline license lapsed. However, Jagson continued to possess its Non-Scheduled Operator (NSOP) license. The company currently offers only charter services from Delhi and Mumbai and does not operate scheduled flights.

The Jagson Airlines continued to carry on enviable track-record in the area of scheduled & chartered aircraft till 2010.
