Itinerary:
DAY 1: Jammu – Katra
On arrival at the Jammu airport/railway station, head to Katra and spend the evening at leisure.
DAY 2:Katra tour
After breakfast, embark on a 13-km trek to the Vaishnodevi shrine (ponies can be hired on direct payment basis) and return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 3: Katra – Gulmarg tour
After breakfast, take a transfer to Gulmarg. In the evening, enjoy a romantic Shikara ride on the picturesque Dal Lake. Relax overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4: Gulmarg – Srinagar tour
After breakfast, go for a sightseeing tour of the city. Enjoy a fun-filled pony ride and gondola rides (on direct payment basis). In the afternoon, transfer to Srinagar and stay overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5 Srinagar: local sightseeing)
After breakfast, visit the famous Mughal Gardens, Cheshma Shahi (Royal Spring), Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love).On the way, visit the handloom centre famous for production of Pashmina/ Shahtoosh shawls and carpets. Stay overnight at the hotel in Srinagar.
DAY 6: Srinagar – Sonmarg
Proceed for an excursion to Sonmarg, the ‘Meadow of Gold’ and enjoy a pony ride on the glacier (on a direct hire basis). Stay overnight at the hotel in Srinagar.
DAY 7: Srinagar
Take a transfer to the Srinagar airport and your board your flight back home.
