Day - 1 - Paro – Thimpu (65 km / 2 hrs)
Arrive Paro and transfer to Thimpu. on a height of over 2400m (8000ft). It is situated in a fertile valley traversed by the Wangchhu River Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure, overnight at the hotel.

Day - 2 - Thimpu
This morning you will visit BBS Tower to enjoy an aerial view of the Thimpu Valley, the Mini Zoo, Anim Dratshang (Nunnery), National Library, paper factory and Memorial Chorten. In the afternoon you will be taken to the School of Art and Craft, Zangthopelri Lhakang and Handicrafts Emporium. Overnight at the hotel.
Day - 3 - Thimpu – Trongsa (215 km / 6 – 7 hrs)
Early this morning will be transferred to Trongsa, the ancestral house of the Royal Family of Bhutan. Enroute you will visit via Wangdue Phodrang and Pelela Pass. Late afternoon you will visit Trongsa Dzong and Ta Dzong. Overnight at the hotel.
Day - 4 - Trongsa – Bumthang (68 km / 2- 3 hrs)
This morning transfer to Bumthang, the valley lies at an altitude of 2600 metres. This valley is the religious heartland of Bhutan and home to some of the oldest Buddhist temples. This afternoon you will visit Jambey Lhakhang, a monastery built in the 7th century, proceed to Kurjey Lhakhang also visit Jakar Dzong built in the year 1549. Overnight at the hotel.
Day - 5 - Bumthang – Punakha (210 km / 6 – 7 hrs)
Today you proceed to Punakha, famous for its benign climate in which fruit trees flourish within sight of the snow-crested Himalayan Mountains. en route, you will view Wangdiphord Dzong. Overnight at the hotel.
Day - 6 - Punakha – Paro (130 / 4.5 hrs)
This morning visit Punakha Dzong and then proceed to Paro, the most beautiful of all Bhutan's valley, was also historically the centre of two of the most important trade routes to Tibet. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day - 7 - Paro
This morning visit Durugyel Dzong or the Fort of Drukpa Victory, proceed to Taktsang Monastery, 'Tiger's Nest' situated 3000 feet above the valley floor. This afternoon visit Paro Dzong, the National Museum housed in an ancient watchtower, which has the finest collection of Thankha Paintings the world over. Overnight at the hotel.
Day - 8 - Depart Paro
