Its naming however goes back to the British Regime, When Khandala was a heaven for the British Governors, Who wanted to spend their holidays amidst serenity. But the name “Dukes Nose” originated after the “Dukes of Wellington” who came to spend his holidays in Khandala. Even today people who come to Khandala, because of a striking similarity between the cliff and his long nose feel the Duke’s presence. When observed meticulously with a wink-eye look the cliff appears as if the Duke is sleeping back and taking a nap. The Local natives because of its resemblance to the hood of cobra, loving call the cliff “Nagfani”

Features: The 8 cottages at Dukes Retreat are approximately 620 sq.ft with a living room and a separate bedroom. The rooms have breath-taking Mountain view and a beautiful garden at the rear side of the cottage.
The Cottages are ideal for a family of four or six.
Located adjacent to the swimming pool these magnificent two bedroom cottage features one master bedroom with a king-sized bed and a connecting living room, elegantly decorated in simple yet luxuriant style. The Cottage offers a bathroom with bath-tub, a dining table for 4 and a large wrap-around balcony, which overlooks the garden.

Conference Rooms:
The Windsor Room is situated on the 1st Level is equipped with modern equipment and conference facilities.
The Edinburgh Room is approximately of 1120sq.ft centrally air-conditioned the rooms are structured to have different seating arrangements.
The Wellington Room, approximately of 705 sq.ft has an open U’ style of seating arrangement for 32 persons.
The Richmond Room is structured for a typical Round Table conference (RTC) with two tables.

1. 1.03 % Government Service Tax would be charged on total billing. (non refundable in any circumstances)
2. Booking will be confirmed against 100% payment in Mumbai only before travel.
3. Confirmation voucher will be issued against Cheque / funds transfer subject to realization only.
4. For guest convience, we have ICICI – HDFC – AXIS & SBI Bank A/c for funds transfer.
5. Bank A/c details like a/c name, a/c number, branch details would be provided upon request.
6. We also accept payment through Credit Card or Debit Card by charging 3.5 % as service fee (non-refundable) via our online payment gateway.
7. No Tentative Blockings shall be made.

10. No Refund, Cancellation or Postponement shall be accepted for whatsoever reasons given by the guest once confirmed & paid.
11. Minimum 02 nights booking are accepted in Prime days & connecting weekends or weekdays.
12. No Refund for early check-out unless hotel provides in written on confirmation voucher and ensure the intimation is sent to our Bombay Office during your stay.
